William's research focuses on using computational modeling as a clinical tool to optimize cardiovascular surgery approaches and facilitate operational decision-making. To date, this includes the use of CFD to simulate the hemodynamics in the Human Carotid Artery and the use of structural FEA to aid in the biophysical design and delivery of injectable biomaterials for left ventricular repair following a myocardial infarction.
